The Wickerman (1973)

Unnerving. At the end of the pagan ritual when he’s burning to death, and he screams out “David,” it’s sooooo scary.

At the end he’s put into a trap that’s shaped like a Wickerman for a sacrifice and as he burns to death the effect is terrifying.

The ending is the most terrifying part. The parade with their terrifying costumes clacking and snapping is super creepy. The folkloric music is super good.

The sweets in the candy shop look really freaking good and I wanted to eat them while I was watching.

The cult leader is kinda cool, I’m not gonna lie. I like his suits, his dapper style, his hair that sticks out everywhere. I like his energy—hey I guess that’s why he’s a cult leader!

The way they present it is so scary.
